A RESOLUTION awarding twelve-month term and supply contracts with twelve-month options to extend, for the furnishing of inmate clothing for use by the Department of Corrections to Bob Barker Co. Inc., of Fuquay Varina, NC, Goaltex, of Syosset, NY, and Victory Supply of Mount Pleasant, TN, pursuant to the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 64-20.


RESOLUTION NO. 20614, February 1, 2021

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 64-20 for the furnishing of inmate clothing for use by the Corrections Department for the upcoming twelve-month period, with one twelve-month option to extend; and,

WHEREAS, a total of sixty-four notifications were distributed, and eight responses were received, with five being rejected as non-responsive; and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following:


Bob Barker Company, Inc.
Fuquay Varina, NC

Goaltex,
Syosset NY

Victory Supply
Mount Pleasant, TN,

and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments on the contracts, including final payments, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using...
