A RESOLUTION transferring $254,763.00 within the 2021 Special Road & Bridge Fund and $156,395.00 within the 2021 County Improvement Fund, and awarding a contract on Bid No. PW 08-2021 for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements at the Jackson County Public Works Vehicle Center Project, No. 3256, to Shedigs It, LLC, of Blue Springs, MO, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $411,158.00, and authorizing the Director of Public Works to approve line item adjustments under this contract at no additional cost to the County.

WHEREAS, to meet Missouri Department of Natural Resources requirements, the Director of Public Works has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. PW 08-2021 for improvements to the wastewater treatment facility at the Jackson County Public Works Vehicle Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, he has received four bids thereon as follows:

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends that award be made to Shedigs It, LLC, of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, in the event that line item adjustments to the contract become necessary, it is appropriate that the Director of Public Works be authorized to approve said line item adjustments, to the extent there is no additional cost to the County; and,
WHERAS, a transfer is necessary to place the funds needed for this project in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers be and hereby are made:
