Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded the Sheriff's Office a grant in the amount of $15,000.00 to cover the office's participation in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, On-Call Work Zone Enforcement Project, for the period of July 1, 2017, to December 31, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Program Agreement provides a suitable mechanism by which to implement the mutual understanding of the parties in this regard; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2017 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
