Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office has been awarded a grant in the amount of $276,402.43 by the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the Office's Victim Services Program for the period April 1, 2016, through September 30, 2017; and,

WHEREAS, the grant will cover partial funding for the salary, benefits, and training costs for four Victim Advocates; and,

WHEREAS, a match of $13,391.77 is required for this grant; and,

WHEREAS, in order to perform the program, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office requires an additional $11,352.00, to be sourced from its 2016 budget; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary in order to place the grant and matching funds in the proper spending accounts; and,


WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within and appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2016 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund and transfer within the 2016 General Fund be and hereby are made:
