Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids by Invitation to Bid No. 33-14, for the furnishing of security services for use by the Parks + Rec Department; and,

WHEREAS, a total of nineteen solicitations were distributed and nine responses were received, the lowest four of which are as follows:
BIDDER PRICE

Statewide Public Safety $12.84 per hour
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Tri-County Private Investigations $12.95 per hour
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

First Response $13.38 per hour
Mission, KS

Mark International $13.50 per hour
Merrillville, IN

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Statewide Public Safety of Kansas City, MO as the lowest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the issuing spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
