Body
WHEREAS, in March 2023, the Historic Truman Courthouse was impacted by a break in the sewer line under the building; and,

WHEREAS, a current County term and supply vendor has provided an estimate in the amount of $273,625.00 for the needed repairs to the sewer line; and,

WHEREAS, additional funds are required for contracted clean-up of the courthouse after the sewer break and the rental of portable toilets for use by the public during the project, as there are currently no operating, publicly accessible restrooms in the building; and,

WHEREAS, these services are also available from County term and supply vendors; and,

WHEREAS, in order to fund the costs, a transfer is necessary; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2023 General Fund be and hereby is made:
