RESOLUTION NO. 20959, May 23, 2022

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department desires to purchase two compact track loaders to meet departmental needs; and,

WHEREAS, the Directors of Parks + Rec and Finance and Purchasing recommend the award of a contract for the furnishing of the equipment to Clark Equipment of West Fargo, ND, under the terms and conditions of Missouri NASPO Construction Contract No. CC190249002, an existing competitively bid government contract, at an actual cost to the County of $140,994.00; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award for the reason that this will allow the County to take advantage of discounts offered to large entities; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made under the existing competitively bid government contract as recommended by the Directors of Parks + Rec and Finance and Purchasing and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
