WHEREAS, the Department of Finance and Purchasing issued Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 54-20 for architecture and engineering services needed in connection with proposed renovations at the downtown courthouse; and,
WHEREAS, a total of thirty-one notifications were distributed, seven responses were received, and the two highest preliminary scorers were interviewed and evaluated as follows:

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for architecture and engineering services in connection with renovations at the downtown courthouse to SFS Architecture of Kansas City, MO, as the best proposal received; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that award be made as recommended to the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
