Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Invitation to Bid No. 30-20 for the furnishing of non-dealer auto/truck parts for use by various County departments; and,

WHEREAS, a total of forty-three notifications were distributed and three responses were received, from the following; and,
VENDOR

Factory Motor Parts
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Metro Ford
Independence, MO

Central Power
Liberty, MO



WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the spilt award of a twelve-month term and supply contract with one twelve-month option to extend for the furnishing of auto/truck parts (non-dealer) for use by various County departments to Factory Motor Parts of Kansas City, MO, Metro Ford of Independence, MO, and Central Power Systems and Services of Liberty, MO; and,

WHEREAS, a spilt award is recommended to ensure a broad availability of needed parts from multiple sources; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
