Body
WHEREAS, the Public Administrator's Office incurred significant damage due to the pipe-bursting/flooding event of 2019; and,
WHEREAS, the office has a need to replace furniture that was damaged by the water; and,
WHEREAS, further, now that office renovations are complete, the office's undamaged furniture needs to be moved back to the office from its offsite storage location; and,
WHEREAS, the furniture is available from a County term and supply contractor and the moving will be accomplished under a small contract awarded by the Director of Finance and Purchasing pursuant to section 1030.5 of the County Code; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is now required to place funds necessary to pay for the replacement furniture and moving costs in the proper accounts; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
