Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19701, dated January 25, 2018, the Legislature did authorize a grant application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in connection with the National Recreational Trails Program for funds to improve the Little Blue Trace trail; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works solicited formal written bids on Bid No. PW 06-2020 for the Little Blue Trace Trail Improvements at M-78 Highway, County Project No. 3243, for use by the Parks + Rec Department; and,
WHEREAS, the grant from Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MoDNR) was approved but supplemental funding was needed to complete this project; and,
WHEREAS, additional grant funding and transferred matching funds will be made available pursuant to Ordinance 5424, now pending before the Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, the bids were opened and eight responses were received from the following
