AN ORDINANCE appropriating $13,303.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2020 Park Fund in acceptance of funds from the Raytown Chamber of Commerce as reimbursement for work performed by a County contractor on Chamber property adjacent to the Rock Island Shared Use Path Project.

Body
WHEREAS, unanticipated field conditions led to necessary changes to the Rock Island Shared Use Path Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Raytown Chamber of Commerce requested a few small improvements and added additional parking areas on adjacent Chamber property; and,
WHEREAS, the County's contractor completed these improvements at the Chamber's expense; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is now necessary to place the reimbursement funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2020 Park Fund be and hereby is made:
