WHEREAS, the County has received checks in the amount of $1,000,000.00, representing payment of insurance proceeds to be used to fund repairs to and the restoration of the downtown Jackson County Courthouse, necessitated by recent water damage; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these funds in the proper spending
account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2019 General Fund be and hereby is made
