Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19008, dated November 23, 2015, the Legislature did authorize a Cooperative Agreement with the Peer Court of Southeast Jackson County, for the furnishing of a drug and violent crime prevention program from September 1, 2015, through December 31, 2016, at a cost to the County in the amount of $90,000.00; and,

WHEREAS, by Resolution 19105, dated March 21, 2016, the Legislature did authorize Cooperative Agreements with the Independence Youth Court and the Eastern Jackson County Youth Court, for the furnishing of drug and violent crime prevention programs in 2016, at an aggregate cost to the County in the amount of 141,631.00; and,

WHEREAS, it is now recommended that the Cooperative Agreements with Independence Youth Court, the Peer Court of Southeast Jackson County, and the Eastern Jackson County Youth Court be increased to provide additional funding for these programs, at an aggregate additional cost to the County in the amount of $28,605.16; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to place the additional funds needed in the proper spending accounts; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2016 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
