Body
WHEREAS, the Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence, MO, is in need of replacement exterior wooden doors due to the age and disrepair of the existing doors; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 66-16 for the furnishing of these replacement doors; and,

WHEREAS, a total of eleven notifications were distributed and one response was received and evaluated as follows:
BIDDER COST
Timekey Enterprises
Belton, MO $36,161.00

and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be awarded to Timekey Enterprises of Belton, MO, at a cost to the County not to exceed $36,161.00, as the lowest and best bidder; and,

WHEREAS, the actual installation of the doors will be accomplished by an existing term and supply vendor; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
