Body
WHEREAS, the County Counselor's Office reached a successful conclusion on several pending legal matters and was able to terminate contracts with certain outside attorneys; and,
WHEREAS, the County Counselor recommends that the funds made available from terminating these contracts be re-appropriated for use on other legal matters within his office; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these funds in the appropriate spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation within the 2016 General Fund be and hereby is made:
