Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4759, dated August 3, 2015, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $117,516.66 from the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the Prosecuting Attorney Office's Victim Service Program; and,
WHEREAS, the grant covers a twenty-four month period and requires local matching funds; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 4759 authorized the transfer of part of the matching funds in the amount of $70,890.15 for the first year of the grant; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's recommends a transfer and appropriation to provide funds to complete the grant match for the final year of this grant; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary in order to place the matching funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers and appropriation be and are hereby made:
