Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Invitation to Bid No. 6-16, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids for the furnishing of auto/truck maintenance and repair services for use by various County departments; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifty-four notifications were distributed and fourteen responses were received; and,
WHEREAS, an evaluation committee made up of representatives from the Public Works Department, the Sheriff's Office, and the Department of Corrections evaluated the bids submitted; and,
WHEREAS, following the recommendations of the evaluation committee, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of twenty-four month term and supply contracts with three twelve-month options to extend to the following vendors, all located in Jackson County unless otherwise indicated, to ensure the ready availability of services for a variety of vehicles in various locations throughout the County:
