Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 34-15 for the furnishing of door and restroom partition replacement, repair, maintenance, and associated services for use by the Public Works, Corrections, and Parks + Rec Departments, and the Sheriff's Office; and,

WHEREAS, a total of thirty-five notifications were distributed and two responses were received and evaluated from the following:

DH Pace d/b/a Overhead Door Company
Olathe, KS

Pronghorn Group, LLC
Kansas City, MO
and,


WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be awarded to DH Pace Company, Inc., d/b/a Overhead Door Company of Olathe, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
