Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4590, date November 25, 2013, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of a grant from the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the Office's Victim Services Program for the period October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, this two-year grant covers partial funding for the salary, benefits, and training costs for a victim advocate and requires additional matching funds in the amount of $22,061.00 for the final year of the grant; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation and transfer are necessary in order to place the matching funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2015 General Fund and transfer within the 2015 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby are made:
