Body
WHEREAS, the Director of the Parks + Rec Department recommends the acquisition of a 34.81 acres tract of land for the extension of the Little Blue Trace Trail, at a cost to the County not to exceed $208,860.00; and,

WHEREAS, Mark and Teresa Dresslaer, owners of this property, have agreed to the sale of this property at a negotiated price; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the funds needed for this acquisition in the appropriate spending account; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2015 Park Enterprise Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $1,000.00 in earnest mone...
