Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 5-12 for the furnishing of turf chemicals and fertilizers for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-four notifications were distributed and six responses were received; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following:
