WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB201115 for the furnishing of security services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifteen solicitations were distributed and seven responses were received, the lowest four of which are as follows:

Statewide Public Safety $12.95 per hour
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Wardlow Protective Services $14.50 per hour
Oak Grove, MO
Lawco Security $17.00 per hour
Buckner, MO
Firstline Transportation Security $17.00 per hour
Kansas City (Clay County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Statewide Public Safety of Kansas City, MO as the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the issuing spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
