Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Invitation to Bid No. 11-11 for the furnishing of safety equipment and supplies for use countywide for the upcoming twenty-four month period, with three twelve-month options to extend; and,

WHEREAS, a total of eighteen notifications were distributed and nine responses received, one of which was non-responsive; and,


WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the overall lowest and best bids; and,

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following:

now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have been made in the then current Jackson Co...
