Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a need to purchase fourteen Evinrude outboard boat motors; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing, pursuant to Section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, recommends the award of a contract for the furnishing of the motors to BRP US, Inc., of Sturtevant, WI, under the terms and conditions of an existing United States government contract No. GS-07F-0066H; and
WHEREAS, Section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, requires that, for any such award in excess of $25,000, the Director of Finance and Purchasing shall submit the proposed purchase to the County Legislature for approval; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing to BRP US, Inc., of Sturtevant, WI, under the terms and conditions of an existing federal government contract No. GS-07F-0066H in the amount of $52,794.00, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
