WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200490 for fabrication and installation of new entrance signage for the Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest bids thereon, bids from the following;

Signcraft, Inc. $6,956.00
North Kansas City, MO
See-More Signs $7,560.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Asign Company $8,789.83
Independence, MO (Jackson County)
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Signcraft, Inc. of North Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Signcraft, Inc. of North Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $6,956.00, for fabrication and installation of new entrance signage for the Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake, as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement thereby made.
