WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director, pursuant to Section 1040.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, has identified an existing government contract, Mid-America Regional Council (MARC)/Kansas City Regional Purchasing Cooperative (KCRPC) Bid No. 09, for the furnishing of recycled office paper products for County-wide use and recommends the purchase of recycled paper products from Clayton Paper & Distribution of St. Joseph, MO and Corporate Express (Jackson County) of Kansas City, MO, in the estimated aggregate amount not to exceed $38,087.00 for a six (6) month period; and,
WHEREAS, Section 1064.00, Jackson County Code, 1984, requires that, for any such purchase in excess of $5,000, the Director of Purchasing shall submit the purchase to the County Legislature for approval; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the purchase of recycled office paper products under the existing government contract award under Mid-America Regional Council (MARC)/Kansas City Regional Purchasing Cooperative (KCRPC) Bid No. 09 be made from Clayton Paper & Distribution of St. Joseph, MO and Corporate Express (Jackson County) of Kansas City, MO, in the estimated aggregate amount not to exceed $38,087.00 for a six (6) month period as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing...
