Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 61-04 for the furnishing of replacement fencing at the Fred Arbanas Golf Course to Guier Fence of Blue Springs, MO, in the actual amount to the County not to exceed; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR Commission
Guier Fence $10,647.00
Blue Springs, MO
Broski Fence $14,201.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Acme Fence Company, Inc. $15,722.00
Grandview, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Guier Fence, of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award of Bid No. 61-04 be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director to Guier Fence of Blue Springs, MO, in the actual amount to the County not to exceed $10,647.00, and that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be, and are hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
