Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB20034 for the furnishing of scanning software for use by the Assessment Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR BID
Imaging Solutions $21,090.00
Wichita, KS
Automated Business Systems $30,140.00
Lenexa, KS
Word Tech $39,980.00
Mission, KS
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Imaging Solutions Co. of Wichita, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized
to make all payments including final payment on the contract thereby made.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
