Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14866, dated January 12, 2004, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute Agreements with certain organizations which provide assistance to homeless persons, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $718,555.00; and,
WHEREAS, Research Mental Health Services, Inc. is an authorized provider of assistance to homeless persons by Resolution 14866; and,
WHEREAS, Research Mental Health Services, Inc. changed its name only to ReDiscover and has requested that all Agreements be executed in the name of ReDiscover instead of Research Mental Health Services, Inc.; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the Agreement previously authorized by Resolution 14866 with ReDiscover, formerly known as Research Mental Health Services, Inc., in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
