Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing pursuant to Section 1040.04 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, recommends a thirty-six month term and supply lease to Office Business Solutions of Olathe, KS, under an existing government contract of Johnson County, KS, in the annual amount of $180,451.37; and,
WHEREAS, Section 1064., Jackson County Code, 1984, requires that, for any such purchase in excess of $5,000, the Director of Purchasing shall submit the purchase to the County Legislature for approval; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the purchases under the existing government contract be made to Office Business Solutions of Olathe, KS, in the annual amount of $180,451.37, as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the purchase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payments on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
