Body
WHEREAS, Land Trust is in need of assistance from the County and the City in order to become operational; and,
WHEREAS, Land Trust currently has no staff; and,
WHEREAS, Land Trust's goal is to legally and efficiently operate and manage it's inventory of properties; and,
WHEREAS, Land Trust has sought assistance from the City and County in terms of providing temporary staff and assistance in reaching its goals; and,
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to assist by assigning personnel on an as needed basis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into agreement, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by reference, with the City of Kansas City, Missouri and the Land Trust of Jackson County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
