Body
WHEREAS, the County and the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) desire to enter into an Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the County will pay $36,300.00 to MARC to be used by MARC to provide a variety of social services to residents of the Blue Valley, Sheffield, and Blue Summit communities with emphasis on youth and senior citizens, under a subcontract with the Whatsoever Circle Community House; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
