Body
WHEREAS, the Hickman Mills School District promotes education and positive youth development though its high school debate team; and,
WHEREAS, this program includes blazers for the team's members; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney recommends sponsorship of this program to provide an opportunity to enhance education and positive youth development; and,
WHEREAS, in exchange for its sponsorship, Jackson County will receive recognition through publicity and social media; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to place the funds for said sponsorship in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2018 General Fund be and hereby is made:

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
