WHEREAS, the County has been awarded grants in the amount of $7,500.00 each by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to cover costs incurred by the County in the development of its Stakeholder Assessment, "A Vision For The Future"; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to allow these funds to be spent; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation as an amendment to her proposed 2000 Jackson County Budget; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2000 General Fund be and hereby is made:
