Body
WHEREAS, the 1999 Jackson County budget includes appropriated funds in the amount of $10,630,000 for the operation of Truman Medical Center - East and $1,601,978 for Truman Medical Center - West, which amount includes funds for the operation of the inmate health care facility at the Jackson County Detention Center; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Management Agreement between the County and Truman Medical Center, Inc., dated June 1, 1986, these budgeted funds are to be paid over to Truman Medical Center; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make payments totalling $10,630,000 to Truman Medical Center - East and $1,601,978 to Truman Medical Center - West, during the 1999 budget year...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
