Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Legislature, through Resolution #11036, dated November 27, 1995, approved a three year lease with Geospace Joint Venture of Independence MO, in the amount of $180,946.00 for 1996, and a total amount of $2,206,588.00, for the furnishing of office and climate-controlled records storage space; and,
WHEREAS, on March 3, 1999, a First Addendum to the Agreement was executed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the terms of the Lease regarding testing of radon and carbon monoxide levels and enter into a Second Addendum to Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Second Addendum to the Agreement with Geospace Joint Venture of Independence, MO, at no additional cost to the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
