Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200290 for the furnishing of fluorescent lamps for use by the Facilities Management Department; and,

WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Western Extralite Company of Kansas City, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Western Extralite Company of Kansas City, Missouri, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
