Body
WHEREAS, the County and the Curators of the University of Missouri, desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereunder the County will pay $5,000.00 to the Curators of the University of Missouri, to be used to help fund low-cost legal services to assist low-income persons trying to start their own businesses through its Entrepreneurial Legal Clinic; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
