Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200129 for the furnishing of electrical supplies and tools for use countywide; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be made to Rexel-Glasco of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
