Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 57-02 for the painting of the Independence Examiner building; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three complete bids thereon bids from the following:

Dayco Painting, Inc. $12,722.00
Grandview, MO
Northeast Painting Co. $18,610.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
MVP Painting $27,600.00
Raytown, MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Dayco Painting, Inc., of Grandview, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best complete bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
