A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with Project Neighborhood to assist in restoring urban core neighborhoods to safe, economically viable drug-free communities, with a target area of the Missouri River to 63rd Street and I-435 to State Line, at a cost to the County not to exceed $18,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the County and Project Neighborhood desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the County will pay Project Neighborhood $18,000.00 to be used to assist in restoring urban core neighborhoods to safe, economically viable drug-free communities, with a target area of the Missouri River to 63rd Street and I-435 to State Line; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
