Body
WHEREAS, under a five-day legislative review, a contract with All Systems Audio-Visual of Shawnee Mission, KS, for the maintenance of a public address system for use by the Legislature in the Kansas City Legislative Assembly area, was approved; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase this contract for five years beginning in the year 2001 in the amount of $7,357.80 to cover future maintenance of the system; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the increase to this contract; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
