Body
WHEREAS, the County recognizes the need for underwater recovery capabilities within Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the County and Lee's Summit Underwater Recovery desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereby Underwater Recovery will provide underwater recovery services in the lakes and parks of Jackson County; therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement between Jackson County and Lee's Summit Underwater Recovery be, and is hereby approved, said agreement being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said agreement; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
