Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 12824, dated August 2, 1999, the Legislature approved a contract with GE Capital of St. Louis, MO, for the furnishing of computer hardware and software for use by various County departments, under an existing government contract of the State of Missouri, at an estimated cost to the County of $75,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase this contract in the amount of $50,000.00 to cover year-end purchases for computer hardware and software; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the increase to this contract; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
