Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited quotes from daily newspapers in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area for publication costs for notices of delinquent land tax foreclosures and sales; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the quotes submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that award of the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in the total amounts for the respective vendors as follows:
VENDOR AWARD
Daily Record $40,000.00
The Pulse, Inc. $25,000.00
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
