Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 72-01 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of employee drug testing for use by various county departments to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

VENDOR
Industrial Medical Centers, Inc.
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Occupational Health Services
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Corporate Care
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO


and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Industrial Medical Centers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid meeting specifications as set out in the attached recapitulation; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
