Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200424 for a term and supply contract for publication of notices of delinquent land tax foreclosures and sales for use by the Collection Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon, bids from the following:

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be awarded to The Daily Record of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to effect said award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
