Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11537, dated December 9, 1996, the Legislature did authorize a five-year extension to the County's then current contract with Southwestern Bell Telephone for Plexar service; and,

WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has requested that Plexar service be extended to its new location at 3831 E. 43rd St. in Kansas City, which will be the site of its Night Lights program; and,

WHEREAS, the MIS Director recommends that telephone service to this location be provided by extension of the Plexar system; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Addendum to the Agreement with Southwestern Bell Telephone for Plexar service; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, on the Agreement, and Addendum thereto.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
