WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 55-01 for the repair, inspection, and service of the County's fire pump and sprinkler systems for use by the Facilities Management Department to provide for its needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has received as the three lowest bids thereon, bids from the following:

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Royal Fire Protection of Independence, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
